This site is a tribute to Clive Scott. Devoted Husband of Judith, much loved Dad of Julie & Tony Williams and Mark Scott & Navita Atreya and a treasured Grandad of Jayan, Owen and Rahul. 

The late Clive Preston Scott

The death of Clive Preston Scott aged 89 years of Church Road, Longhope occurred at home on 23^rd February 2025.

The funeral service took place on Saturday 22^nd March at All Saints Church, Longhope with the Reverend Canon Jude Carpenter officiating. The organist Mrs Carol Sleeman accompanied the hymns “Abide with me” and “Morning has broken”. Recorded music during time of Reflection was “Streets of London” by Ralph McTell and recessional music was “Mamma Mia” by Abba.

Following the service committal took place at The Forest of Dean Crematorium where music on entry was “Top of the World by The Carpenters and on exit “Senzenini” by Hans Zimmer and The Penny Whistle Song by Hans Zimmer.

Donations in memory of Clive are to benefit The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and these are being received by Ernest Heal & Sons Funeral, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Coleford, Glos, GL16 7BH.
